Themes: The theme of this book is to never give upwards. This of import to keep in heed considering life has a way of beating people down fourth dimension and time again until they feel like in that location may never be an cease to all the bad things that are happening to them. Merely when they take promise, it can make any state of affairs they are in not seem then pointless and worthwhile.
Personal Response: I like this book because I experience like it is actually easy to go not on yourself, but this book shows you lot that y'all can go through things fifty-fifty if information technology seems like the worst of times. I observe that in this world bad things are bound to happen, but it is key to look at the positive side of things similar Lily did when she got Peggy. With that though, I also think it is important to have people or things that are there to back up you when your hope begins to waver.
Recommendation: I would recommend this book for 2nd through 6th grade because those are times when children tend to become down on themselves almost things they tin't help and they experience like the earth is against them. It is expert to use this to remind them it is okay to ask for help when you lot need it and how there are e'er people that will be there for y'all. Another idea is to employ information technology in a lesson to ask your class nearly what gets them downward and what are ways they take support in their everyday life. I believe using this book volition benefit them in knowing there is e'er a sunny day after a rainstorm every bit long every bit they know they can make it through it.

The theme in Dream Dancer is that information technology is of import to never surrender on your dreams no thing what obstacles you must overcome.
When I read Dream Dancer, I could feel myself feel sad for Lily when she broke her pes and couldn't dance but in one case she found the doll, I could see the life come dorsum in her. She was able to put her dear for dance into the doll and this reminds me that fifty-fifty when something doesn't go your way you have to look at the skillful things even so in your life.
I would recommend this book because it shows how you must go after your dreams even when you are scared and unsure. You can also rely on other people or items to requite you forcefulness in times of hardship. This is a valuable lesson for children because this story can show them that no affair what, they should chase their dreams.

This is a good volume to teach children about perseverance and overcoming obstacles. Equally a ballet enthusiast, I would also exist inclined to use this book in the classroom to teach children nigh dance. Traditionally, dance is stereotyped as a girl'southward activity. I recollect it'southward of import to teach kids that anybody can trip the light fantastic! This volume would be paired well with a book like "Dancing to Freedom," which is about a male dancer.
